You Crawl from the Meteorite
A downloadable game
YOU CRAWL FROM THE METEORITE is a 36-word RPG for solo or duo play.
A meteorite crashes into a landscape. Something emerges, and spreads.
Does it meet resistance? Or is it welcomed? Is it able to grow and spread far from the landing site, or is it forced to quickly stop, settle and establish a home?
You are strongly encouraged to use your own maps to play this (although one is included). If you download and cut out the 'hexagraphic map lenses' you can put them over any map! Maps contain so much information, picking a good one will fundamentally change the type of tales you tell as you play this.
The necessary brevity of the instructions means there is a bit of room for interpretation here. Please do play this in whichever way makes the most sense to you. The ambiguity of the text is a part of the game!
This is a cut and fold A6 booklet zine, based on a template from this One Page Zine Template by Star West. You need to print on both sides of a piece of paper, then fold and cut it according to these instructions (or any others you can find).
